Well, I would need to get some Bachmann K4's, first. And more heavyweights. I have two brass K4's, but they need a little work. My usual passenger power for shows is an S1, so they have been on the back-burner. If you really want a double-header, though, I have some I1's I can put on; act now and I'll up your order to a triple.
My comment about double-headed K4 locos plus a heavyweight train was simply based upon the picture hanging on the wall above the "Pass".
Proceed as you see fit.

Oh, I know; I was just trying to make a tongue-in-cheek reply. I'm sure this forum will see enough "foreign power" posed on the pass to keep everyone occupied/annoyed.

I think I can help out with the annoying part, here are a few samples of foreign power on the pass.

The SD40 came from Jeff Peck and the EM1 I bought new and had Josh @chicken45 weather it a few years back.

Whoa! That does look pretty good! I didn't take a lot of pics of that while I was weathering it. Thanks for sharing that!

Some not-so-great cellphone grabs of "foreign power" over the pass. Had a limited amount of time, so hopefully they aren't too offensive. I also took the time to wire it to a transformer, so it is a genuine test-track now in addition to a photo plank, so next on the list is to fix a telephone pole that took a topple, fix the ends, and clean the track, but that won't happen for a while.

It would be full circle if Civil War motive power was rolling on it.

While probably not what you had in mind, @VonRyan and I have been discussing the feasibility of recreating a Camden and Amboy 4-4-0 using the Atlas 4-4-0. He is also working on a 4-4-0 of his own, so maybe I could borrow it to produce the requested image.

I'm glad to see that Mitchell Curves has survived another move and avoided the dumpster.

As  you have discovered, the 3/4 inch plywood base makes it very heavy. I didn't build it to be portable.

It will never meet that fate under my ownership (or at least at my own discretion). The current plan is to frame it and use it for Free-mo in order to let more people see it. Currently working on fixing some of the damaged scenery, first. And taking pictures on it...
