At least I know I'm getting one locomotive model I've long wanted...
Welcome to Ontario... we've got a tax for that.

I’m with you on these. That would be my choice of roadnames, as well. I wish N could support a resin kit manufacturer for stuff like this.

Wellington CO

It would be nice! I too wish we had the kit builders market to support that...

It's one of the biggest things that tempts me towards a larger scale... That and Sergent Engineering couplers...

You can find resin models of the 36' Fowler CPR/CNR/PGE boxcar (also known as the 'Dominion' boxcar) from Central Hobbies in Vancouver. They also have a stockcar and and a "12 man sleeper" MOW variations of this car. Some guy by the name of Geoff Gooderham has been doing them in resin for sale through this hobby shop.

The same fellow has done models of the CPR Cape series sleeper/buffet/lounge/solarium, also available at Central Hobbies. All cars are built up and need final details before paint and finishing.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays,

Since we're suggesting......A Wabash Bluebird.  Kato has the E-8's and the dome coaches already.  The baggage/parlor 650, the diner 51 (seven windows not 6) and the dome observation 1601.  I would have ordered the resin one from Skytop but I'm not quite confident enough in my ability to make the modifications in resin to convert from CB&Q variant to the Wabash variant.    Kato could do the dome observation for the CB&Q and have  domes for the twin Cities Zephyr.  I think the N&W Historical Society had line drawings for 1601 maybe more.  Senior moment.

A heavyweight PRR Queen Mary / Wabash City of Wabash/ NYC (sorry I don't know the names),  heavyweight parlor car would be nice.  I think it is a Pullman plan 3957 Parlor Observation.

It looks like Bluford Craig has answered my Peoria and Eastern half bay window caboose request.     :)   I have e-mailed him in the last couple days but have not heard back yet.   But that's OK as it is the holiday season.

Gotta run,
Bobster

On the Blue Bird, I have always assumed Kato was just waiting for me to complete my kitbashed "approximation" of 650, 51 and 1601.  The Wabash historical society publication "The Banner" issue 26/27 focused on the Blue Bird, and had lots of photos, including builders photos of several cars, and although no elevations, does contain floorplans.

Kato: Amtrak SC44 Charger + Pacific Surfliner Cars, Amtrak Ph VI Cab Control Car, Gunderson MAXI Is and IVs with new container liveries.

I would say the 1950's version of the NYC 20th Century with E7s, but they made that official in their 2020 Japanese catalog.

First and foremost an AS-616. then High Hood GP30's and 35's. C&O Heavy Mikado's with all the pumps on the front. MTL to do C&O heavyweights and that about covers it.

GE U33/34/36C: A hole in this time era that no one has filled. Surprised this isn't a more well-requested item, as I know these were fairly common across multiple railroads.

I agree and also want. This is probably the biggest locomotive gap that is yet to be filled.

Cheers

From KATO:

Please make a North Coast Limited. Please make a North Coast Limited. Pretty please. With cherry on top.

And an E8/E9 for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy. With red stripes. To pull that NCL from Chicago to the Twin Cities.
