Micro Trains N Scale SW1500

I know it has been asked before but I have not seen a reply with a way around the Mickey Mouse tabs that touch truck tab and then the side of the chassis for electrical pick up. Very poor method.

So, once again; has anybody come up with a "better way" ?

On my LL units, I re-stake them with a soldering iron, and then add a small amount of JB Weld two part epoxy over them.  I haven't had any problems since.

Another LL Unit.   I made my own.   They're glued to the underside of the sill, in the middle.
