I pre-ordered 4 of these and they just arrived. They are nicely done. I was initially a little worried they might be a little light to track well without loads, but these have a nice weight to them. Detail is good enough for me and the ride height looks acceptable. I’d be tempted to get a few more, but I only have one significant flat car serviced industry (excluding random team tracks) planned for my future layout, so will pass for now.
The only problem is they are way too clean & new, but I’ll remedy that before they’re put into service.
The new Atlas coil steel cars look good too, but on the branch line I’ll be modeling, there would be zero reason for their presence, so no need to spend the money.
