Athearn FMC 5347s now arriving.

Has anyone picked up the new run of Athearn FMC boxcars?

I'm curious if they have body mounted couplers, and whether the underframe could be a drop-in replacement on older Athearn/Roundhouse boxes with the metal underframes.

Thanks!

All the photos I've seen so far are just pre-production artwork and no photos of the actual model.

I'm pretty sure they are body mounted McHenrys, like all the recent ones I've bought including I think the latest run.  To my knowledge the floor would match the MDC but I've not tried it.

New Athearn frames are basically the old Athearn frames with coupler boxes molded in place, old Athearn frames are MDC frames that accept truck screws instead of truck pins.

I've also swapped them to confirm they are interchangeable.

Thank you very much. I've got some old MDC and Athearn cars with metal underframes that I'd like to swap for the new body mount underframes.
