Is that CGW one of the 'Dart End' kits?  If so, can I see how the ends look painted?  Also, is the black roof correct for a new car?  I never did get the shop diagram for that series.

The ends were part of the 2017 Chicagoland RPM mini-kit. I’ll get pics when I can. The roof is the correct black and the roofwalk is plastic painted to look like unpainted wood per the prototype.

That must be a hell of a thing to see...  Nn3 is a true modeler's scale, but to be able to take on the entire Rio Grande Southern in that scale takes craftsmanship and nards!

He's also got a concealed many loop helix just left of King Siding inside a small mountain.  However, that will be done with C40 rails for durability's sake.  Maximum grade on the layout is 1.2% I believe I heard Gregg say.  Long runs give you that option.

Yup, the mountain top lifts off for access and it's accessible from underneath too.

That's what I was wondering.  I did the 'dart' end" drawing for the mini-kit and hadn't seen an N scale version finished yet.  I saw where the clinic was updated with the black roof info.

Completed the PRR camp cars (modified Tichy kits) for the wreck train. Also completed a tender for the wreck derrick.

I sold my last two CF7 kits last year at Altoona.   Until Atlas reruns the GP7's or at least announces it I'm not making any more, as the etchings are a rather significant up-front investment.   They still aren't showing on the Atlas N production schedule, which is 'way out'.

@cbroughton67  Forgot they make cut stone as well. It looks good in your photo...how did you handle the corners?

I mentioned the Plastruct cut stone sheets because I've seen it in hobby shops but was not sure if scaled correctly for N Scale. Tempted to order some of the Slaters to see what it looks like (always on the lookout for good scratch building or kit bashing wall material sources)

Well, I've got horns on my locomotives, so I might as well give them something to do . . . a road crossing!  This is 0.060" black styrene that's been roughed in.  It's not glued down yet, and it obviously still needs paint, ballast, and road markings.
