Got mine yesterday at MBK.  Didn't realize the 40's have hitches - for 28' trailers???

I called MBK today to ask if they'd get more in. The fellow said he doesn't know when or if. He did sign me up for email alerts on a couple of the item numbers (of the 6 Atlas TTX 53' cars).

I ordered a bunch of 40's and a few non-TTX 53's this morning.  I'm oddly unperturbed at missing the TTX wells.  They will turn up eventually, and lord knows I have an endless to-do list already.  In any event, I hope Atlas appreciates the demand for modern intermodal rolling stock.  ;)

Cut down from the 48' AP cars remember? The TTX lost their their hitches during the rebuild.

Was there a restock at MBK?  I managed to get a TTX (early) 40 and an FEC 53.

I noticed hobbylinc has some too, for a few bucks more.

No roadname specific details, I guess.  NOKL has them, TTX doesn't, the models all do.  Hopefully not hard to remove.

MBK must have changed something - I'm expecting the package tomorrow.

Used to be you'd order, a couple days later they'd ship (print label), and a couple days later the PO would pick up the package.   If you were lucky you'd see it in a week.

Kudos if this change is permanent.

MKB does a super job - but their shipping speed varies a lot....

They also feed into what seems like a very slow PO.

I believe both of these models are rebuilds though - shortened 40's and lengthened 53's. Not new builds. So none of them would be before the 2000s.
