I dragged a couple of my old Ntrak modules outside to take some photos in the natural light. These modules were built by Joe Valario and Andrew Hegstad some 20 years ago. They are very nice, but I never get a chance to use them since I don't set up with Ntrak groups any more. This is the first time I've had them up on their legs in 14-15 years.
Fantastic! With your permission, I'd like to use the one with the steam engine for my "desktop" photo...(?) Mark in Oregon
I spent the weekend learning how to paint backdrops.
For the first time in over a decade, I have a dedicated model railroad work bench! No more living out of a tool box and intermittent spurts of productivity at the kitchen table! Since the only space available for railroading in our new home is the garage, I'm diving into freemoN. The tall cabinet on the left has trays on drawer slides that can hold an 18" x 48" module. I should be able to get 6-8 in there depending on the height of each module.
Looks great! What are those furring strips on the wall for?
