Weekend Update 5/26/19

I dragged a couple of my old Ntrak modules outside to take some photos in the natural light.  These modules were built by Joe Valario and Andrew Hegstad some 20 years ago.  They are very nice, but I never get a chance to use them since I don't set up with Ntrak groups any more.  This is the first time I've had them up on their legs in 14-15 years.

Fantastic! With your permission, I'd like to use the one with the steam engine for my "desktop" photo...(?)

I just wanted to post an Update for "House Cleaning" thread..
The post I had about the FREE Jewel Cases (House Cleaning) has been moved to a different section.  Which I understand..

I was able to do some modeling this Memorial Day.  All M1A2s are ready for the paint shop.  Back row tanks will get the flat cars from the Humvee set, and the Humvees will ride on more 89' flats, some with trailers hitched up.

For the first time in over a decade, I have a dedicated model railroad work bench! No more living out of a tool box and intermittent spurts of productivity at the kitchen table! Since the only space available for railroading in our new home is the garage, I'm diving into freemoN. The tall cabinet on the left has trays on drawer slides that can hold an 18" x 48" module. I should be able to get 6-8 in there depending on the height of each module.

Doug:  Definitely looks "dry Western". 

Eastern Washington doesn't have that kind of hills, and more vegetation, but we've been quite a few places that look like that.  Parts of northeastern Wyoming come to mind, as well as the Southwest.

It’s a French cleat system. I’m planning to hang most of my tools and supplies instead of using up drawer space.
