Yep, its part of the old Fulton Gas Works that still mostly remains, though long abandoned.

The better half and I went railfanning for the first time in awhile on Saturday - visited the West Slope. in 45 minutes at Cresson and about an hour at Cassandra, we witnessed 8 trains and 31 locomotives. We missed two more as we headed further downhill to Portage. Later in the day, a few hours after we headed back home, two Heritage Units went east. Here are few highlights.

Back at Cresson, a six-unit set of SD80MACs came up the hill and stopped. A crewman got off the loco, went into CP Vito (a pizza shop) across the street, and returned with a late lunch. The guy beside the engines had been up almost onto the rails to get a photo as the engines approached.



These two youngsters were there with their Mom. Their dad is an engineer; the youngest one thought this was "daddy's train".  Mom had to explain that Dad was in Harrisburg awaiting the next westbound...
