Think the warped door was just them melting from 1/2 tube of glue on them.

I missed out on the first PC U23B's. Now I'll have time to get the wallet ready for these. And the CR Police Training car is a nice touch.

Exactly.  They were quite thin.

What is the deal with the "Gold" version of the U23B. Is it sound equipped? There is no mention of sound..
There is only this reference:
Both DCC ready and DCC equipped versions
NCE Decoder (DCC models only)

Why no sound?

On the PDF, there is a blue icon with the caption "Gold Models with ESU Sound" - hopefully the other description is an error.

I was so hoping for L&N or Family Lines (not SBD) U23Bs with this next run.....I can't find them anywhere.  :( At least I am getting MP and PC U23Bs!  :D

Hopefully, at some point, they will offer doors through the Parts Dept. (or has someone found a replacement door that is thin enough?)  And Walthers wonders why their N scale lines did not sell as well as they anticipated.... water under the bridge at this point, I suppose.  Let's hope with Atlas overseeing production that warped doors are a thing of the past.

Anyway... I will be buying a couple of this new Atlas run when they hit the shelves at the closest hobby shop and/or online.

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

Atlas did put the wrong trucks on their SCL/Family Lines B23-7, so you may want to verify that it also isn't an actual error....

The artwork has been corrected, it will have the correct trucks:

Sorry, likely a copy and paste error, it will be corrected, thanks for pointing it out.

$50 for a single lamp post? Even the "cheap" ones are $28 apiece. And how many would you put in a town?
