DODX Cars Tracking

I've had a problem with the DODX 6 axle cars not tracking ... On some of the cars, the truck doesn't swivel smoothly .. you have to carefully pry the bolster pin out, and ream out the truck hole or file the bolster itself some .. Looks like the tolerances are too tight ..  be careful though .. the pin is in there very tight .. and you may break it as you get it out :(

I have problems with the wheel flanges rubbing on the bottom of the cars, particularly the "dark green" cars.  They
make quite a bit of noise going around my layout.  I switched out the factory wheel sets on one car with MT low
profile wheel sets, but the wheel diameter is smaller which looks weird coupled to a car with the factory wheel sets,
and coupler height is affected with the smaller diameter wheel sets since the couplers are body mounted.

I also have flanges rubbing on my Cascade green set.  The two mixed sets do not have this problem.  My hypothesis is they may have gotten paint a little too thick on the cascade green underside.

It's a simple fix to remove the wheels and dremel out the flange grooves in the underside of the car.  I would expect this to solve the tracking issue if that is another result of the flange rub.

In my case -- one truck on each 6 axle car wouldn't swivel going around curves .. which caused the truck to derail .. The paint on the bolster is a bit too thick. It's a simple fix  ..

John - What is your simple fix..?  I have tried sanding down the coupler and its still too tight.  Thanks
