DMVW power has returned the empty Herzog ballast train to the CP yard in Max, ND., and passes alongside the power that delivered the loaded train the previous day from the east.

As it’s my birthday, my wife treated me to the Valentine’s Day Dinner Train on the Wilmington & Western RR. That’s right, I’m riding a train and eating a nice buffet dinner, as I write this post!  I love this woman!

Another rebuilt PCC car departed Brookville for San Francisco (SFMTA) this week.  This one is painted for Cincinnati:



And, this beauty was released to revenue service yesterday!  Here she is a few months ago being loaded for shipment:

I watched "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" the other day and forgot how prevalent those cars are in the movie.

They were going to CGI them in at post production..  But the art style just didnt fit the scenes.
