Um, some threads are not scale specific, so that might not be the best solution.
Besides, if we all properly tag our threads, what will Gary do?  I heard that he loves to add scale icons to the threads.

Why not add an "ALL" tag, for the non-scale specific messages, and then require a tag choice as part of the posting process?

But, if you must specify, then you must delineate- wherehastthou a 'Generic' scheme icon; machine/ plant/ operations etc.
