Guys, didn't the original announcement of the announcement say a never before offered locomotive in N scale? All those cab counts are nice, but haven't all those models been done, even if poorly, in N scale before?
I like the look of the athearn model but UP never had a narrow cab sd70 so I won't buy one unless I could get the appropriate cab. Scale trains will have the correct cab if that's what's being modeled and therefore my money.
Nobody is gonna buy a 24 pack of the carbon black cars (well, except maybe @SAH ),
Oh, and the new locomotive will be a FM H20-44. Makes complete sense.

That doesn't narrow it down..
GP30.....A revamp long overdue in N scale, if I'm looking at the phases correctly there's five cabs once you account for the high hoods, at least one of the Scaletrains guys is rumored to be an early NS fanatic, and they have the SOU 2594 less than an hour away at TVRM to pull dimensions from...
