BM&LP End-of-Life in 2019

What I understand is the last non-passenger electric RR in North America will end operations in 2019 as the generating plant it serves is slated to be closed. They have a modest fleet of GE E60s and E60-2s in an isolated operation in the north Arizona desert, far, far away from civilization.

Anybody here take the time/trouble to railfan this unique line? Online accounts are consistent in conveying how difficult it is to railfan due to accessibility issues, poor train frequency (three round trips a day), and hostile management and landowners proximate to the RR. It follows US160 for about 25 miles, but other than that access is poorly-maintained dirt roads.

I'm entertaining the possibility of a trip to the area in the late spring to catch it before it's gone. Would it be worth the effort?
