Thanks Mark.  Certainly a different scene with nobody by the track side this time.  I thought UP was going to donate it to the library?

(Looks cold!)

As far as I know, they still are.  Perhaps they're doing small tour of the train while a permanent resting spot is built.

CSX had a Loco specially painted for GHWB during his re-election bid. CSX 7812 Spirit of America, and it was renumber 1992 during the campaign, sadly they re-painted it into the YN2 scheme. Atlas did the model in all three scales.

Which ever side of the track I am on is the right side.

UP4141 and UP1943 finally lashed up together on a freight somewhere in Illinois. ...

The pair are currently in nearby Dupo, IL, in the ex-MP yard there, and are expected to be here a few days. Local railfans are not happy as they are parked in an inaccessible area of the yard.

I read that UP is letting 4141 travel the system for the EMPLOYEES to get a chance to see it, not doing it for Railfans. I do understand this but at the same time UP is so excellent at displaying the specials. Oh well.
