I know they are crooked and not straight,,,just trying to get a "feel"
Y-it

Trees in nature aren't always straight, so no big deal.  But remember to grab them leaves off the ST's :D

Been working on the desert side of the layout - Dirt City, CA on The BNSF Ponderosa Sub. Some more scratch built palms and some grout work.

Progress for this weekend:
The stripes are so brittle - really slowed me down. I have the front pilot stripes to do and the road number on the rear of the cab -- then some touch up

Thanks,
Wolf

Ordered @tom mann 's weathering book. 8)

Received Fast Tracks order for #4 Nn3 switch and track laying supplies.  I found that I forgot to order PCB switch ties. :(  It's OK as I'll be able to machine some from the fret outside supports from the standard ties. Maybe later this week. :)

Hooked up the NCE DCC system I got at Trainfest yesterday and got a few loco's programmed.  Glad my son Luke talked me into getting this instead of another locomotive.  I'm off the entire week of Thanksgiving and plan to spend a bit of time in the train room with Luke.  Maybe I'll get my airbrush working next weekend and make some attempts at weathering.

That is so cool!
And I assume that this was taken with your smart phone with no focus stacking?  The depth of field is what makes photos like this so realistic looking.

I continued work on Medford Trains latest N scale release, the Hanover Engine House.  It's complete per the kit instructions, but I'm going to detail the interior and have an idea to make the doors operable instead of being glued open/shut.  The prototype building was torn down by CSX in the late 1980s/early 1990s, so I will be giving it a new lease on life on my "future" layout.  I say future layout because my current version does not include Center St where this building was located.  So this will either be a shelf or module queen until that happens.

Very clever and creative.  You basically did what a telephoto lens does.  :)
