Value of Atlas N GP39-2 chassis?

What is a DC, non-sound Atlas N GP39-2 chassis worth and would anybody want them? I have purchased a few and I don't need all the bells and whistles. The shells fit on the GP38-2 , etc. chassis.

I would say $40-50. That's what I would pay for one, anyway.

Thanks for the feedback.  I kind of thought the same, but given the price of these new units, that means the shell would be worth the same?

If you are looking to swap... I have tons of GP mechanisms (DCC ready and DC only) I'd be willing to trade plus a few dollars for the trade "up".

A long shot, but the old LL diesels used to come with a sheet for replacement parts, with prices listed.  The entire list of parts equaled the total MSRP of the loco, so I figured it represented approximate cost of producing each component.  I don't have any LL locos left, but if you did, it would provide a nice reference.  Kato has a lot of parts on their website, and maybe they have the chassis price, and with a little math, you could calculate as a % of total loco price.
