B&O C-16 "Lil Joe" scale drawings
« on: August 19, 2018, 04:30:30 AM »
I'm looking for scale drawings of the B&O C-16 Docksider #97 or #98, but not having any success. I tried finding them on the 'net and also contacted Model Railroader magazine who never answered my query. I also tried the B&O Historical Society, but was told that I would have to become a member. And they never stated whether they have the plans or not. Since the Docksider was produced by quite a few companies (Varney and Rivarossi in HO and Bachmann in N) including brass (Gem, PFM), they must have had scale drawings. Does anyone have the drawings or know where I can find them? Thank you for your consideration.

The book "Scale Modeling and the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad" has drawings for the 0-4-0 in both versions, the C-16 saddle tank and the C-16a with the slope-backed tender.  I got my copy at the B&O RR Museum in Baltimore a few years ago.

If you PM me your address, I can send you copies of those pages from my book.
