A couple pics from while we were delayed at the otherwise delicious Casa Valdez

That's @seusscaboose with the car as a parrot on his shoulder, with @chicken45 creeping us out on the left and @CodyO barely visible to the right.

That voids the Hell Gate Models warranty.

After everything that’s happened, THAT’s what voided it?!?!  You guys cover giant river monsters?

And salt disasters?

Thanks Ed, as you have mentioned, I had him paged just after you guys left for lunch. We got caught up on the P&WV and AC&Y. Steve also discovered CMR is selling Fairbanks Morse H20-44 shells in N scale.
Guess what our next projects are going to be :D

Wait, wait, say what, did somebody say FM H20-44's? I need to hear more pls.

Wow, thank you for the link, I had no idea! Pics look nice, too.

So the question is what chassis would one use. The website recommends the VO-1000, but I'm pretty sure that's not the correct wheelbase (I'm traveling and have no access to my stuff).
Perhaps the seller will know.
Thanks again,
Otto

According to www.thedieselshop.us,  the H20-44 has a truck bolster-to-bolster distance of 27', vs. the VO-1000 was 22' 8".

Yes, those also void the warranty.

Hmmm, that might be me in the tan hat in the center of the photo... kind of hard to tell with my head down but the build is right.

Also some photos.

There are some more here too, but no more Josh (that's only available on Railwire Plaid): http://railfanning.kapuscinski.net/2018/08/cresson-gallitzin-and-altoona-august-of-2018/
