Southern Railway coach info

Looking at the possibility of doing an Southern Pullman offering and looking for a duel window coach in said railroad markings.  So far not turning up anything.  Any of you Southern Belle's out there want to chime in...now's your chance   LOL

My car diagrams from 1957 show plenty of single windowed options.

There is one diagram, with numbers 1603,1604,1605, 1803, 1804 that was double windowed.  It was retired by that date though.

My diagrams might be incomplete.

Could be real, could be a 1:1 foob. But looks like a single window coach to me.

Probably not much help, but here's what I have....

There is a photo on p. 135 of The American Railroad Passenger Car by John H White that shows a Southern paired window coach # 1364.  According to Mr. White (text at the bottom of p.132), the car was built by Pressed Steel Car Co in 1906 and "It delivered the first steel coach, Southern Railway's 1364, in time for the June convention of the Master Car Builders."  However, there are also drawings for the car, and those drawings appear to be for a single window car.  I am going to speculate that the car was renumbered, or the number shown in the book is in error. (the photo is dated 1919- so it may not be the same car built in 1906)

And I am thinking that because Southern had a series of wood cars that they resheathed with steel and are numbered in 1330s.  Other than transoms above the windows, and the restroom windows being oval in the White book, the car looks a lot like http://rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=466589 which is identified as Sou 1331.

All the Southern HW coaches I've seen are "single window" - but maybe there is one out there somewhere.

Southern's "Lake Pearl" is a Pullman 10-1-2 type car.

The window frames are wrong color in this pic. But it is a single window coach.

Most folks are chiming in that the Sou did not have paired window coaches. Lots of single window jobs can be found but very little besides what Thomas mentioned has come up yet.

The product listing for the former Branchline Trains heavyweight passenger cars can be a useful place to start looking.
Note that they did not produce their paired window coach in the Southern roadname.
