You know, in my altered history, the Jupiter (and its original owner) is owned by the Pennsy.    I've got the Bachmann model that will be part of a display outside of Penn Station River City.

Definitely worth a visit, as is the drive up the old right of way up to Promontory. Having seen old photos which make everything look flat, I didn't expect such an impressive, mountainous terrain.... That made me appreciate what those men accomplished even more.
Not quite sure what to make of the new legislation, but I suspect it's a good thing.

Not to get political here but Rob Bishop (the bill sponsor) has said the 2018-2020 term will be his last. I'm guessing he probably wants a better public lands legacy after some of the high profile stuff he's been involved with in southern Utah and the downsizing of bears ears national monument.
