The Key Imports one is one of the best running I've ever seen. I don't think I would have sold that off until I had a replacement in my hands (unless you just happened to have a surplus of T1's or needed the money for somethingimportant).
Designing a T1 mechanism is not easy. The long wheel base and big drivers make for a chassis that really has a hard time going around curves unless you do something special to it.The Key Imports one is one of the best running I've ever seen. I'm gonna guess it didn't go around Doug's curves.
The latest photos of the BLI T1 (posted on FB) show that the center two sets of drivers are blind, as in lacking flanges.Was the Key T1 made that way?
