@Atlas Paul   But - the CR C40-8W's are wrong - should have LARGE CR-Q logos....

BTW - why not do 6100-6149 (which arrived November 1991) - these are the most useful to  the widest audience????  The 700 LMS/CR and CR 6277 were all latecomers late 1994-1995.

Heck, the LMS' were off the property 6 months at a time.

Also kudos on the faded RBOX....

No DCC either for that matter. I don't even DCC and even I know it's long overdue for these.

Not one item appeals to me this time around.

The earlier production C40-8Ws had thinner radiator wings than the later production version.  I think it was the introduction of split cooling or something like that. This picture that you posted shows the thicker wings on the 747 and the original wings on the 6192. http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=4358892 I'm assuming the Atlas model has the thick radiator wings and that is why the numbers were chosen. Of course, you  know what happens when you assume...  :D

The fabric of reality has begun to fray.

but they did 6050-6099 and early repaints. so the cat's already out of the bag.

I for one have no use for these - plus they are in the wrong paint scheme!    :)

if they did 6100-6149 I'd get 2-3.

I'm in for some Golden Peanut Company Tank Cars. Been wanting them to do this one for awhile.

Might pick up a lake Erie Bio-fuels too.

Absolutely nothing of interest. I have nothing at all on pre order from Atlas.  I can’t ever recall that being the case before.  With their lead times it is if they have simply disappeared.

An expensive one for me, CN and NS Dash 8s... I've been asking for these, but both in one release... three numbers of each too... ouch! Glad I've got some time to save!

Cheers,

Kev

There's a footnote in the catalog that the "paint scheme is correct for a similar prototype."

Odd thing is the numbers don't seem to match anything...    :?

Also, the Atlas model is likely wrong for the LMS units. I've none of my own to check, but the proto LMS were late model and all had split cooling, resulting in the radiator 'wing' being noticeably thicker when compared to a non-split cooled model.
