I wonder if this another FVM collaboration like the ET44?

If it is I hope the NS cab will be compatible with the FVM ES44DC to get an accurate DC GEVO.

I hope the CNWs will have the "tiny" yellow, or reflective tape, stripes where "the green meets the yellow", unlike the Katos.

Intermountaain announced on it's Facebook page not long ago that the Dash 9's are headed for production.  So they must have gotten enough reservations.  Now, time wise, what that means is anybody's guess.  I think it means they will proceed with the tooling creation and getting the production scheduled.  So it still may be quite a while before they arrive.  But at least they're not cancelled.

Confirmed for Production: The project has met the minimum required Advance Reservations and will be scheduled for production at some point in the future. Advance Reservations will still be accepted.

Anyone get a look at the production samples at a recent train show?  I'm wondering how they're doing the air reservoirs on the side of the fuel tank.  Kato, Atlas and even FVM don't do these very well on modern to modern-ish GE locos with only ScaleTrains hitting the mark.  The fuel tank mounting on N scale locos is a sore point for me as you can see that a lot of models make compromises which IMO are an eye sore and take away form the look of the model.
