@wcfn100 , Sorry I did not mean to sound harsh, It's just when I see pics, nothing else compares, even "drawings" sometimes.

That "drawing" is probably from the 60's and the model is probably based off of it.

Nope that brass model doesn't even come close to anything I have shared thus far.

I'm here to complain about Keystone Details doing western railroad stuff.
But I know John needs to make some money so, CONGRATS! You guys are the Choo Choo shoes to Broadway Limited ;P

Kidding, of course. I'm just trollin' for the sake of it.

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

Steve Sandifer did an article about upgrading the old Hallmark HO model that has some useful info on the prototype and a few of the modifications over time  (I did a quick check through the thread, so I don't think it has been posted yet- http://old.atsfrr.org/resources/Sandifer/29/Index.htm
Tom D.

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

@thomasjmdavis Thanks for that info.  I will look into most of those upgrades (some are impossible to print of course and will have to be left up to the modeler's devices.

Well after all of the added infor provided by @thomasjmdavis in his last post (thank you!), much added design was required.

Here is the completed design including a wire bending jig for all of the brass wire bits required.  Instructions will be lots of work, and i still have to prep and sprue the designs for SW upload.

Still no idea on the final cost.
