Looking for Doodlebug pix.

Replacing the LED on an older Bmann Doodlebug, has now evolved into the do it now, rather than later deal. It's an undec, I want to do up for a foobie job of a long gone road, that never made it to dieseldom. Can someone direct me to a source, or several, of proto pix of these cars? Like to see model pix in N scale, too.

UP ran self-propelled cars from McKeen, EMC and Brill. A Brill (?) car was converted into a rail detector car:

The Bmann Spectrum doodlebug is an EMC make.  There are several great books on this subject, including Keilty's book "Interurbans Without Wires".  Utah Rails posted a PDF of this section, with photos, of this long out of print book.

 Glad to see LV and B&M had a few, confirming there were some in the Northeast. Think I will use a bigger headlight on front, with #boards. Those awning style cab shades are a doozy.
