There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

Yeah, there's several like that.  I think the CofG unit uses the exact same piece as the Conrail.  Check out the UP handrails. It looks like they didn't even try.    :|

Those are MBK shop photos. One of the reasons why the handrails are showing up so light is they are molded in color which can make them translucent in strong back lighting such as this. This is the reason why atlas molds their handrails in gray now then paints them.

Other companies mix an opaque agent into the colored plastic to reduce the translucency (I think Micro Trains does this).

Is it molding or overly thick paint.

The photos remind me of the original B-man C40-8W's.

I find it strange that companies go nuts on the level of separately-added details, fancy sound decoders, then they mess up on the simple handrails. Even if strong light brings out the problem, I'm sure it will also be visible under normal lighting condition (on most train layouts). They could probably get away with it on some layout in a grungy badly-lit basement.

Common problem these days - Kato's are almost flourescent on certain models:

I think BLI is more of a sound company and less of a Model Railroad company.

They must have color matched the plastic to paint in a dimly lit room. If you look and the front handrail in the shadow, it looks really close to the paint on the body.
