What do I really want for Christmas 2018....

1. Shapeways to ship me a model I can paint when I take it out of the box (with maybe a quick wash in dish soap, which I do to everything I paint anyway).

2. That set of skills that some of you possess that lets you do more on your railroad projects in week than I get done in 6 months.

My wish list for new tooling:
1. Z-Scale Trinity 5161 Covered Hopper in BNSF Circle Logo, BNSF Swoosh, Union Pacific, et al
2. Z-Scale Tank Car - Something generic like the venerable MDC/Athearn tank car that can stand-in for a variety of cars.   N-Scale is moving away from this type of car, but in Z not only are we still in that "mode", it is a needed car.   
3. Z-Scale 52ft6in Thrall gondola - See Trainworx in N.

Honorable Mention for new tooling:
-Various Z intermodal.   We're getting Maxi-I's so that's a great start.  Inclination would be something like a LoPac 2000, or a Maxi-IV.
-SW1500. MTL had one on the drawing board, so it can't be an impossibility.
-"Standard" Coil car, like the old Red Caboose car in N

Schemes for existing Z tooling
1. Bethgons - First and foremost would be the TGNX cars that complement the AZL PNJX cars and are an anchor for coal traffic on the line I model.   But the big commercial success has to be the silver/green BN which I believe is far and away the largest in existence on the real railroads.    But also want various other BNSF schemes too...there are at least three that have not been produced yet by AZL. These include the "Cooper Block" BNSF, Circle Logo with Mineral Red ends, (similar to the AZL BNSF green cars but with mineral red ends) Circle Logo with smaller mineral red ends, (similar to the AZL BNSF Swoosh cars but with circle logo)
2. PS2-CD - Still dozens of great schemes that need to be done.
3. Syrup Cars - Tate & Lyle / Staley
4. MTL Husky Stacks - Correct BN scheme for single units; 5-pack of TTX to simulate a Maxi-III setup

CNJ F3s in blue and tangerine scheme

I second this, however, I don't see it happening.  Even though their earlier CNJ green and yellow F3's are hard to find and command high prices when they rarely come up on eBay.  Heck, I can't even get them to make Reading F7's.  They are still 30 A units and 30 B units short on reservations.  No decent Reading F7 has ever been made in N scale (not counting the horrible BevBel version made decades ago).  They get enough reservations for Reading FT's but not F7's or F3's.  Makes no sense.  Anyone who needs FT's needs the others.

Also, I support an AS16's.  I would be in for several of them.  In Reading, of course.  Keep the motor out of the fuel tank area so all versions can be modeled.
