Kato announced a limited quantity of undecorated Milwaukee observations and super domes. Pricey at $50 each plus $15+ UPS shipping. But they are available if desired.

Already being discussed in https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=43385.0 but I'm not surprised you've missed it, going by the cryptic subject line. Yours is much clearer.

I love how they pointed out that they are throwing in the jewel case at no extra charge. Thanks Kato!

I really want one for my dinner train, to replace my resin car, but $65 US is almost $80 CDN. Can't do that.

I can wait until I can pick up a set and part it out, or until Kato releases them as painted models.

Craig.

And the Obs comes with the lighting kit?
"The tail light, marker lights, and interior of the observation area all light up."
1 x Milwaukee Road Lounge Observation Underframe w/ circuit board + Interior

Dome does not..

Sounds reasonable since it is a "standard equipment" for that car in the set.

Not the optional LED lighting kit with the full-length light bar. But all KATO obs (except the first) have come with lighted end markers. Even that first one had rear marker lamps that lit up if you installed the optional lighting kit.

The rear observation dome actually lights up to standard in addition to the markers... but yeah, you need the full lighting kit to get the rest of the car to light.
