Had Atlas offered a later phase RS-11 with a low short hood, they would have had an accurate RSD-12

Not really... the RSD12s had six carbody air filters while the Atlas RS11 hood only has five... you'd be one filter short...

But if you can get RSD12 fuel tanks, they look much better than the RS11 original tanks. Just a little trimming, and they slip right on. Tack with Goo.

Note the reference to a later phase RS-11 that has a blank space for the 6th car body air filter (and the correct radiator)

Was somebody asking about the RS11?..I don't understand why you mentioned this?..I think they're after the RSD12, would it use the same fuel tank?

Just mentioned it for the modeling info. Atlas RSD12 tanks are more dimensional than what comes with the RS11. That's all.
