Walthers sort of did one....if you don't mind the wrong X-panel roof (and the corresponding lack of a roofwalk ), the crappy coupler boxes, etc....

Did Walthers ever produce it in NYC?

This is a nice announcement.  N scale was due for a nice generic bay window caboose.

Whew.  Mr. Wallet is ecstatic that I switched to HO scale.  Otherwise, I would have been a sucker for an L&N and/or a SOU bay window caboose.  :scared:

It's OK Dave, I'm sure they'll be offering them in HO shortly, just like they did with the Transfers!

Oh bloody hell!  :P I just bought a Walthers bay window to convert into the early NYC 1950s paint scheme. Oh well, at least they did NKP and I can enjoy three correctly modeled NKP cabooses on my layout.  :D

Heh, yeah, and I already have the Family Lines transfer caboose patched for the Seaboard System.  I liked this model so much in N scale, that I bought it again in HO scale. Nice!

Yes sir! Glad to finally see some Southern bay windows.

I'm hoping we'll get to see to eventually see some in the old Southern scheme:

I'd also like to see an L&N cab offered in this scheme:
