It appears Blain at ER has moved on, they have new VP, wonder if they will go back to doing some more N? Probably not I won't get my hopes up. :D

Blaine had little input on the N thing, he was primarily the public face of ER tasked with explaining the situation. It was made pretty clear to me in talking to him there is a bean counter somewhere in the process that shuts down N projects based on the old "30%" chestnut tied with a bad cash flow and inventory experience from ill-considered product offerings at the beginning. They're a good company run by well-meaning managers, but until somebody gets to the right person to educate them about what they did wrong in N, status quo will prevail, I'm afraid.

Wow. Has to be! From the RMC article, "...near the author’s home in Elberta, Utah." That's about 35 miles from ER's offices.

Maybe now they can finish one of the two N scale cars they've said they were working on (one was supposed to be out before last Christmas).

I'll take this as good news.  It never hurts to have someone in the boardroom.  I recently bought some Exactrail boxcars and I'm keen to see them come out with more.

He was indeed, explains Trainlife's transition into a retail site and their relationship with Exactrail.

Should be interesting, alot of Exactrail's early issues was due to having a backlog of old/proposed/commissioned(and cancelled) tooling from other manufacturers...

Hopefully they will be more aggressive in N scale in the future...

 Chris tried his hand at an N scale-specific modeling website for a while too, IIRC. He featured his own very sweet downtown buildings as part of it,  but I don't think it lasted long enough to finish this one multi-part article he was doing on one of his projects. Is he a busy guy, forgetful, or one that doesn't follow-through by choice? Did the Hudson Terminal ever get completed?

Hudson Terminal is an ongoing work in process, which is documented in detail on its Facebook page.  I believe at some point this year he entered the Dominion Building and some of the others in a model contest but I don't remember where he wrote that info.

I really like me ER rolling stock would really hope to see more N from them in the future. So hopefully will see that happen, I think in the beginning there was too much duplication (doing some cars BLMA was doing).
