No more Conrail love at Morning Sun?

New winter titles were announced yesterday and nothing for Conrail. That'll make a solid year since the last title was released. During the past few years, they had Conrail titles released almost monthly. Anyone know the reason? Poor sales? Authors abandoning projects?

I was really going they would release a volume two of the locomotive roster. Volume one covered engine numbers though 4000. This is the second abandoned Conrail project (the freight car book was also to have a second volume).

My guess is that there was a series that's wrapped up.

Canadian Pacific in color had an 8 year gap between Volume 1 and 2.

Conrail books are going the way of the dodo and N scale on TRW.

But Morning Sun does have an upcoming BN in Oregon volume and a book by an Espee employee circa early 70s; so it's ok there's no Conrail, because it's not the center of everyone's universe.

Like putting out N scale locos or cars, there has to be some limit as to how much product aimed at the same audience can come out per year, no?

Another possible reason is as surmised, the CR authors just haven't submitted much lately.

I have a friend in Waterloo, IA that worked at John Deere that had pictures of an autorack with all tractors.  He also had a shot with tractors loaded onto a flatbed trailer, which was then loaded on a flat car.

I'm not sure I'm agreement there.  But I found there has been no break in books from Morning Sun for me.  Just picked this up over the weekend finally.
I put if off as long as I could.  I'm gonna need a bigger bookshelf.
