Jeff,
The weight must not extend that far because the drill bit reaches all the way to the top of the inside of the tank. The bottom of the tank seems to be thicker than expected but the weight definitely is not in the way.

Yes, I will make it available. I think through ESM instead of my personal Shapeways account. Sometime next week.

It is designed specifically for the Atlas 11,000 gallon tank car. I doubt it will work for any other model.

I will explore creating adapters for other tanks pending the demand of this one. I was able to bring this to fruition quickly because it already was 90% done a few years back when the model first appeared.

How many cars does the kit do?  Does the 4r mean four cars or two cars/4 coupler mounts? Thanks

I've got a few different type tank cars so I'm going see how they will work. Ordered one set if they work as is or with little modification I will order more.

Just ordered five sets.  I need to upgrade 16 cars, so this gives me a few spares.  If I really like them, then maybe I will buy a few more tank cars for them.  Now to acquire some Bestine as I have not worked on too many 3D printed items.  Thank you.
