Spent the past few weeks working on the Micro-Trains BNSF Fuselage set: https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=42472.0

Yesterday I finished up the included decals. Still considering whether to try making my own decals for a few additional key things.

what you posted is a link to a Facebook page (not a photo).  When I click on that link it gets me to your main FB page and asks me to login to see more (no, I'm not planning on setting up a FB account just to see where the link takes me).  I suppose others who see it are FB members and are logged in on the same browser as where they are viewing TRW.

Testing and adjustments continue in Dawson Creek Yard.  Here we see Work Extra 632 cleaning track in the sidings:




With the major yard wiring project behind me, I have returned to model building for the first time this year.  First up is the Dolbeer Spool Donkey for my consist of the Provincial Museum Train:






The sled was assembled from wood dowel, scale lumber and dyed with Hunterline stain.  The steel chassis and ring/winch gear is a 3D printed part via Shapeways.  The boiler is from the Detail Associates donkey kit but I am not happy with it - the cone is the wrong taper and there is a step around the base.  I will get a 3D printed part to replace it.


I also returned to work on BCOL 6502, which was the crane idler for the Prince George Auxiliary.  The prototype was converted from an ex-CP Minibox:




My model will be 1/3 Briggs Minibox kit and 2/3 Evergreen styrene. This is where I left things a year ago:




During this past week I installed the new underframe, 'B' end bolster, fabricated the 'A' and 'B' ends for the house, and the blocking racks to go underneath the car:




I hope to get the two halves of the car attached during the coming week.

Work continued in Spring Grove.  More ballast and ground cover.






While in town, I heard horns blowing and caught CORP 2064/2065 coming back from Porters with a short string of boxcars.  Was able to catch a couple shots of them blasting thru at Main St.

I finally finished up the Missoula Mercantile warehouse.  A huge "thank you" goes to Michael Livingston for the decals and some detail work.

Wow, really terrific work this week guys.  Progress for me is slow as usual.  I did manage to clean up my work space by making shelving for my paints and odds and ends. 

Also added some rock debris around the back edge of the coal mine.  I wasn't satisfied with the scene prior so I decided to add a little more interest to the scene.

Also took your guys advice and decided to repaint the river bed.  I purchased some of the Woodland Scenics Olive Green paint last week and decided, what the hell, lets do this.  What do you guys think?
