Happy for you modern-era folks, for myself... meh. It also amounted to non-news news.

But that's OK all around. The more, the merrier. The turbines are impressive and I'm elated to have them, but like I said before, it's awfully difficult to get more RR- and era-specific than the 8500HP turbines. :|

:o  WOW! The NS ones look incredible!  This has to be the most accurate NS-specific model ever made.

If I move forward a decade I could almost manage one in CSX. Almost.

Hopefully they will use needle bearings in axle cups for lower friction.

They look amazing. Finally a manufacturer that makes the air reservoirs in the fuel tanks properly in N scale!  My only criticism is the grab irons stand off way to much on the hood(s). But wow phenomenal loco for us N scaler. Can't wait to get my hands on them.

Too new for me but happy nonetheless for seeing N getting some top shelf locomotives. Maybe on their next locomotive announcement we 60s and 70s era modelers will get something.

I saw that the Rivet Counter version will have sound and be DC/DCC.  Do any Turbine owners here have any experience operating their Turbines with the dual mode feature?  I'd like to know more about it.

I got my pre-order in. The details look great and the ESU LokSound installed already... the price is a bargain.

I just pre-ordered two with dcc and sound.  Very nice to see these.
