I just noticed the new trucks under the NH baggage car. Have these been released as separate trucks yet? I could use quite a few for various CPR heavyweights!

I could sneak that New Haven baggage car into my Atlantic Coast Line Florida train.  It happened on the prototype.

Those top-equalized trucks aren't new - they first appeared when the original baggage car came out.  They haven't been released as a separate item yet, but as it happens yesterday I called Microtrains and ordered some direct.  They haven't arrived yet...

We've determined it (the car)  is prototypical right?

The model as tooled is based on the Erie prototype.  That is a new roof though.

If you want a more prototypically-accurate NH baggage, track down one of the WOT 60' cars.  The door widths/placement are off for New Haven, but it is the closest model that exists to the prototype.

Based on the car number, I think the NH prototype would have had 4-wheel trucks - but Mr. Bussey is far more expert than I am.
