Alright PNW Asshats, Who's all going to be at the UNW Show in Monroe, Wa this year?
Show hours are 10-5 on Saturday the 25th, and 10-4 on Sunday the 26th.

I have to work saturday, But I'm going to be getting off work about 7am sunday morning, so I'll be there Sunday, with MRNS.

I know a few others that will be there, but I'll let them chime in themselves.

Count me in.

I will be there most of Saturday, trolling the tables, looking for interesting bargains.   I've had to miss it the past few years,
so I'm glad to be making the trek this time.

Not this year. Have to work later on Saturday night and need to be rested. It's going to be a long night. ...

Roger and I will be leaving the skagit valley for Monroe early Saturday. We never miss that show, seems like one of the best around the northwest for nscale. Usually railfan Bayside and Delta yards in Everett on our way home.

And this time I get to drive! I'll have to find my audio output cable to connect my scanner to the FJ audio system so we can hear what's happening on the tracks. It's a bummer that our usual space to check out Delta yard was consumed with a building and parking lot.
Most of last year was taken up with my most excellent hospital adventure, but, as for the show, all I need to do now is put together a list of Northern Pacific things I'm looking for! I think I have everything, but I'm always looking for the surprise in the box of caramel-coated popcorn.

Okay, before we let this circle around and around, and then get to the show on Saturday and never find each other,
does anyone know the layout of that show well enough to suggest a good, specific meeting place where we might
all get together to say "Hello".  These things always start out with the best intentions, and then after the show, there's a
flurry of posts in the forum from people saying, "Yeah, I was there.  I didn't see anybody."

I'm just trying to prevent that from happening.   :)

The Mount Rainier N Scale N Trak layout is usually at the center of the main building.  I suggest that we meet there at noon on Saturday.  I chose Saturday since respondents to this thread, except Delamaize have said that they will be there on Saturday.

I'm still undecided at this point.

@mmagliaro - are you driving the entire distance up and back on Saturday?

This sounds fine.  I will throw in my support for this idea, so now there is a quorum of 2.  Ha!

Tom:  Is there an identifying sign or flag that the Mt Rainier layout always sets up, so we can rendezvous there?
An NTrak layout is large, and people might circle around it without exactly knowing who is who.  (Heck, I know
that would happen to me.  I just know it.)

Just saw this thread, need to speak to wife,.. but after the one day drive to Vancouver (BC) and back a few weekends ago, I don't know if I'll be able to make drive alone without going insane.

Bryan, you're in Salem area right?  I'm in Hillsboro.  Have you heard from Max yet?  If I go it will be Saturday and it will be up and back in a day.

Yes.  I'm carpooling with some folks.  It's about a 3-1/2 hr drive each way from me, so "we ride at dawn"... ha ha ha.

Mt. Rainer N Scale does not have a flag, but there is dark green skirting all around the layout. Let's meet at the yard throat.

Done!

Mt Rainier NTrak, Saturday, Noon, at the yard throat.

Even if folks just get to say "hello", or meet for the first time for a few minutes, or get some lunch together (after all, it will be noon),
it will be well worth it.
