My avatar is not showing up anymore

I cannot get to that screen to modify my profile .... must be a bunch of settings that are not default.

Thanks Nick - that is why I started this thread in the admin forum - hopefully the    in charge will fix it.

I'm still puzzled that Josh has the extra upload option available.  He was the reason I wanted to change my avatar in the first place.

I also have the upload option now.

You made the change while I was digging out my ancient backup copy of Firefox 3.6.2 to see if it would work.  It did, but you had already done something, so I still don't know if the version mattered...

It didn't.  BTW...if anyone is on the fence about what browser to use, I recommend Chrome.

I believe that just like accessing certain other sections of this forum you have to earn your right to edit your profile. I think it is 25 posts. Once you get over that number of posts you will be able to fully edit your profile.

@tom mann : you say that you didn't tweak anything, and yet the options in my profile look different (I can now upload avatar images)?  I wonder how that suddenly showed up.  Was it something I did unknowingly?
