BLI AC6000CW and BLI Replacement Parts question

I didn't want to bring up the old post back from back in February..

Against my better judgement I'm thinking about pre-ordering an undecorated AC60 in the CSX version as I prefer the deck mounted ditch lights over the pilot (UP) version.

Is it easy to get replacement parts from BLI to swap trucks out? Or is it easy to even get the parts unless going through a dealer?

I'm going to being painting it in SP Speed Lettering and would rather have the Hi-Ad trucks rather than the steerable types. Sure I know they are producing SP versions but with pilot mounted ditch lights. If its that tough to get what I need they I will just go with the pre-decs and live with them as is.

Warranty parts only.  I tried to get some spare parts a few years ago and was politely declined.

I would call and ask. I was able to get spare parts from BLI for the M1a/b's

I've called and received replacement parts -- had to pay for them which was fair since it wasn't warranty work.

Would be nice to get all the parts to build a unit without sound :-)

Surely you jest.  :)
Even if that was possible to purchase all those parts, the total cost of your DC-only model built from parts would be higher than the one of factory-built model with DCC-sound.
