I know the SF unit is in my era, but what about the Maersk unit? When was that painted and how long did it stay in those colors? Trying to justify having one on the Boston line.

June 2002 to ~2004... It never ran in that scheme in revenue service...

So according to that site the Maersk SDF40-2 Kato is making, is basically a glorified dummy.... Yet Kato is making it powered... Seems like it would be better off in Maersk set with the NS SD40-2 that pulled it around...  :facepalm:
Don't get me wrong, it is pretty... But still...

What can ya do I suppose.

But I will be waiting on the SF version. (so will my jar of ATSF blue to remedy that horn and plow.  :D )

According to this picture she did revenue service but not for BNSF up in Oregon granted the Maerks branding was remove.
