I got a case of them at $14.99 ea. from Micro-Mark several years ago.   :D
I think I only kept 2 and cut some friends in on the rest.

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

Micro-Mark was actually selling N scale models?!  I thought they only sold H0 and larger scales.  I must have missed that sale.  At that price they were good source for the motors alone!

Yeah, it's been awhile.  It may have been Model Expo, now that you mention it.

Model Expo when they were closing out their N scale inventory. I converted my GP20s into 3 Guilford geeps, a Mass Central GP9/20/38-1.
