Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.
"It works! It works!"

The entire short hood on that paint scheme was yellow, as shown on this SD40-2

Keep in mind however that is the later scheme applied to those units. Not sure when the later scheme was introduced, but it was likely after 1967. 


as delivered they would be painted like this, with the yellow only partly up the nose.

Rats! It'll be a pain trying to paint just part of the low hood. Better buy some good masking tape...
