Need 1/2" Long Wood Screws to Hold Wiring in Place

Once again, I have no experience as to which size wood screws I'll need to hold my terminal strips and bus wiring clips properly in 1/2" plywood.

I found these, but I'm wondering if the head is large enough:

I haven't tried working with wood screws and plywood in decades... how humiliating.

First I would stay away from slotted head design and stick with phillips,  gives you more grip and can still  screw it down from a slight angle
Second don't use brass,  too soft will shear in you plywood,  Your link is for a #1 which are very small!!!
I have been buying a box of 100 #4 x3/4 and a box of #6x 5/8 for most of my things.  from my local ACE hardware store, maybe about 5~6 bucks a box.  ( don't even think it was that much )
 They will fit tortoise machines and this clamps and terminal strips.
I would also recommend that you buy a small bag of assorted clamps, since you might need to group more wires every once in a while. .

Something like this is really best done with samples of what you are using in hand and then going down to a hardware store (HD, Ace, etc) and matching things up - can save you time especially since that there are so many choices. These chosen screws look small judging from the diameters provided. You are using terminal strips that look like the ones I'm using - these can easily take a screw 1/8" to about 3/16" (0.125-0.187) in diameter. I tend to use short drywall or construction screws (no pilot holes needed) for most of my work. I dug around and found that a #8 screw (0.164 or 5/32") is about the largest size that will work - still fits though easily and the head diameter fits well. I would say something in the #6-#8 range would work for your situation judging from the diameters provided on that site.

Also, for this kind of application you don't need a brass screw - the common steel screws work fine and will cost a lot less.
