The rocking train effect looks very real.  Seems to fit just about every secondary main until the 90s.  Still geeked out on that Mars light!

I was anti-facebook for a loooooong time. This year I finally got on it and WOW! the amount of model railroad groups, prototype groups, railroad historical groups etc... is amazing!! There are literally thousands of photographs that are posted that have rarely if ever been published or seen. It is now a resource worth its weight in gold. Only down side is; that due to all that new data, it is a huge time zapper.

Good to know. Thanks. I was able to view it on my less-locked-down browser; apparently there is JavaScript or something like it in the Facebook page which is blocked by security settings in my normal browser.

My response wasn't intended to elicit the usual Facebook debate, I was simply blocked from viewing the video and hoped it existed elsewhere. OTOH... ...there is something in the Facebook code on the page that planted an undeletable cache entry in the other browser. It would not "go away" with normal cache deletes, and would restore itself even after a full cache clear. Never encountered this before and had to drill down into developer commands to "hard" clear scratch memory.

You all practically make this sort of work, "too good to be true."  I assume that one would have to measure out 39' lengths in regards to the track but I don't know if I could effectively do such without damaging the track itself... though it is a bit tempting none the less.  If I eventually can build the junction and yard that I want to do I yet may try this on some of the tracks... providing my age doesn't eventually make me forget such an idea...

I'm just sayin'...
