RS36 / RS32 -- and yes I see and actually have a couple of the Shapeways conversion kits; but an Atlas model would mean no need to machine down the frame, hard wire in the decoder and provide my own solution to creating a front headlight.  And while they're at it, they could use the new mechanism and cab to produce a low nose RS11.

We could also use the new ESU sound decoder in a new version of a C424/C425; and same sound capability in an updated RS3 and RS1.

N&W and NKP RS-36 conversions are available here - https://www.shapeways.com/shops/cuttingedge?s=0§ion=1%3A160+Locomotive+Shells+%26amp%3B+Cabs

OK, that's one checked off the list... next!

Not so fast.  The low hood RS36 print looks like it has louvers on the carbody air filters, which would be incorrect even if representing a NKP unit repainted to N&W.  None had these louvers.  Now if he would offer a shell without the louvers, then we could scratch it off the list.  Now the high-hood NKP print looks to have the right detail... definitely tempting to me for passenger service IF I ever decide to abandon my interest in the late-steam era.

Not really.  The Phase II RS11s had the same three grouped forward carbody air filters as the RS36 and the middle filter was removed on the later units as well.  It would be close but rivet counters would look away and shake their head.

There are three versions on that site - a high hood N&W version (that doesn't look like it has louvers, and looks pretty much like this https://www.nwhs.org/archivesdb/thumbsSmall/photos/NW05643.jpg); the low nose louvered version (it clearly states it has louvers, god forbid maybe for non-N&W modelers); and the NKP version.  If you need a low nose non-louvered version, ask the shop steward to whip one up (he obviously has the drawings of the long hood and a low short hood), or I'll buy you a saw.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

Yes, FA's. Updated for DCC would be great. I did state my wish for FA's a while back, and I think Puddy (wishing you good health Mike.) chimed in. Rapido is making HO FPA's. Another case of WKW lack of love for N.

I'd have to go with the C415 and C636, as those were the only ones the SP&S had that haven't been made.  I don't count the ConCor C636...

On the other hand, they seldom if ever made it to Montana, so I'm not worried if I don't get them.

I have tried repainting Bachmann models and the glue is an issue. A big issue, not fond of the electronics in them either. I will wait for someone else and continue to put them on my list.

I also have 5 of the true line trains RS-10/18s and would like more in more detail variations.

I was asking for state of the art FA's; clearly there were a number of iterations done badly and I don't care how well some of them pulled. Still own quite a few, but the amount if effort it takes to bring them up to par is too much.... I need several sets. We have more F unit releases that one can shake stick at, but no comparable quality FA's... and they were the major competitor during the time covered wagons ruled.
