We can't comment (gripe/bash) until we have the model in-hand!   :D

We do with every other model.😩

I think the forum has changed - I was told no bashing until I have the model in hand and base my bashing on facts.   :D

Personally, I don't get the turn this thread seems to have taken. There's obviously some commentary directed back toward the forum itself, but there's just a lot of "negative waves" (to borrow @Mark5 s trademark). A lot of us are excited for this release, and there's no evidence out there to suggest that this product is going to be anything but awesome. Is it too much to ask that we keep raw speculation and self-referential vitriol at bay until we have facts to discuss? At least, can we all get along and not get any threads locked until we have actual data?

Someone just let us know when it's in and shipping to us, or when someone has one in hand. The thread was about it's arrival!

Slow train a'comin.....

What I am curious about now that we have a K4, and apparently within days a M1a, is which loco will be agitated for because it's not made in mass-production? Ideas, anyone?

Haters do what they do best, hate.

One ebay dealer had listed the arrival as late April/early May, so...

Needs to be either an H8/9/10, B6, or an E6.

So not having the model in hand isn't a fact?  SPFs are definitely the patient modelers. I always understood the desire for the K4. Glad manufacturers like BLI are starting to see a market worth supplying with quality product.

The booth across from BLI at iHobby in Edison, NJ had an N scale M1a in BLI packaging on their table. Not sure what that means, but I did not bother to ask about it. Maybe I should have?

How about the Hudson?  The premier 4-6-4 passenger loco hasn't been available since the old ConCor versions, which are . . . old, even though Kato made the early ones.  Seventeen Class I's (including Canadian roads) rostered the 4-6-4 type, and although there were minor variations in boiler size and driver size, the NYC version could be used for a bunch of these.

I'd love to see Kato do a modern-mechanism US-prototype 4-6-4 . . .
