K4. For one, it will stifle the cacophony that the SPFs have been making for as long as I have been on model rr forums. Two, it does provide a nice chassis for some potential bashes. Perhaps Bachmann may even tool another boiler to put on it. I believe there are plenty of choices that could be reasonably done. For whatever issues it may have it runs well enough and looks well enough.

Ah well, I chose the ACS-64 & set.
I chose it because it is a fantastic runner and it captures the proto very well... Down to the silver rings around the headlights.
Maybe I should pull the posts from nSn and move them here for a full run down?

The K4 would be next but nobody is nice enough to loan me it to test it
But it was a loco the PRR guys desperately needed in the long line of locos yet to be produced for them.

I would mention the IM SD40-2s....

Guys, I used N Scale Supplies announcement pages they have available month by month - they are a major player so when they announce something as "available" I'll assume it was an accurate date. If I missed a model it was because I was unaware of it, thought it was a re run or just missed it - no sinister intent...

My top three were
    1) Kato FEF-3.  My vote was based on the glowing reviews.  Being an SPF, I have no need for one, but contemplated buying one just because of the reviews.
    2) Atlas S-2.  I have not purchased one yet, but will at some point.  Fills a definite need.  Again, good reviews.
    3) Bachmann K4.  I have purchased three of these.  Fills a need for me.  Good runner and good looks, except for the sand dome, which @Lemosteam has addressed through Shapeways.

They did.  In stock at M.B.Kleins on Dec. 6, 2014.  But I'd say that's close enough to 2015 to make it eligible.

smh. I really hope they get this right...and these recent delays are only minor tweaks, not anything major. But I'm beginning to think it was something major, like the GHB L1.

For future reference... NSS's announcements sometimes lag by a few weeks. To their credit, actually, as their priority is making extra-sure pre-orders are satisfied before determining there will be enough inventory to open the gate to all comers. With some of the makers releasing new stuff in limited quantities and separate shipments, I don't envy them one bit in having to play Solomon.

I only brought it up cause I remember preordering it back in Sept 2014, and then getting into some financial issues and not being able to follow through with BLW...

Speaking of Awesome Rapido stuff, I have a Milw Bar/Cafe car, that I have no use for, it was my first Rapido car in N and man that thing is sweet!!
Now if I could sway you guys into making some Horizon Fleet coaches.... We Amtrak modelers need them! We have enough Amfleets, and Superliners, and Viewliners, but we need them bad!! Lol.

I don't know about that!  Not in Phase III anyway, which is what most of us would need.  Two Amfleet II coaches and one Amfleet II lounge.  The bulk of the fleet was and still is Amfleet I, and I'll be sure to ask Kato next month in Springfield when the Phase III release is coming.

I could use more Amfleet II coaches in Phase III paint!  Oh, and while they're at it, some Heritage Fleet cars in Phase III, too!  I need to build some Florida trains.
