Bought into a deal on AZL's 10 pack painters special and got two undec SD70 Spartan cabs.
Their here, less than 12 hours from the post office in Virginia to the post office in Grand Rapids and four hours later they were in my house.
One gets painted burgundy and light gray and lettered for the Grande Valley and the other one gets painted pink with black graphics and a breast Cancer ribbon to support breast Cancer research.

Some really nice work this week, that MILW locomotive is the bomb.

A suggestion by @mark dance gave me the solution to a perfect river bed.  The freshly laid Fraser River and a 100 or so more trees.

This WM stuff is getting ridiculous.  Picked up 2 more covered hoppers this morning for a birthday present to myself.

I had a couple of cars I'd broken off the plastic stirrups on, so I replaced them:

Placed my first shapeways order a few days ago.
And on Thursday I bought a can of Bestine at one of my local hobby shops.

Microscale gloss or flat finish are also both compatible with Sharpies.

Almost any acrylic clearcoat should work with Sharpies.

On the other hand, I suspect that most petroleum based solvents would cause problems, not just Dullcote.

I've finally started my B&M B15 2-6-0. The chassis is about half cut out. Hope to get the rest done today. The holes have been drilled for the wheels and gears as well.

No Bruce, no casting.

I don't suppose it would fit on the old Trix FM chassis, either,  :P

It sounded like a good idea at the time... too bad the caboose wasn't in on the plan.

I redid the purple on one of my tags with grey/silver.  I think it looks closer to my photo I'm using.  Posted photos in the November Weathering Challenge.

There were two different FM switcher chassis, Trix modeled the later chassis that was three feet shorter than the more common long one.
